YOUR DATA. YOUR DECISIONS.

Your privacy choices

Practical controls for advertising, local records, backups, and information held by other services.

Manage records stored on your device

  • A transaction: open Transactions, use the selected transaction’s delete action, and confirm the prompt. Deletion updates the local ledger.
  • Saved Insights: use the delete control for an individual exchange, or the clear-history control in Insights and confirm. Clearing insight history does not delete transactions.
  • Visibility: use the Home visibility control to hide or reveal financial values. Hiding information is not deletion.
  • Permissions: manage camera and photo access in device Settings. You can keep using manual entry.
  • Backups: delete unwanted .sanchaybackup files, cloud copies, and any provider trash or retained versions through the chosen file provider. The app’s local delete actions do not change exported backups.
  • Original receipts: delete originals in Photos or the source app separately. Sanchay’s temporary-image cleanup does not remove them.

The current app has no single verified “erase all” workflow and no hosted Sanchay account. The operator cannot remotely inspect or erase records that exist only on your device.

Before removing the app

If you want to retain your financial records, create a working encrypted backup and keep its password first. Removing app data without a usable backup can make records unrecoverable.

Deleting the iOS app removes its local app container, but Keychain entries can remain. A leftover key cannot recreate the deleted database. Android app-data removal, device transfer, and manufacturer behavior should not be treated as a guarantee about every copy. Store transactions, advertising-provider records, exported backups, and support email are separate.

If a database fails to open, contact support before uninstalling or deleting files. See backup and recovery help.

Requests about provider-held information

For support correspondence held by Idrish Khan, email idrish011@gmail.com. Describe the request using the minimum information needed. Do not send financial statements, card details, passwords, or database keys.

For store, advertising, email, or storage-provider information, use that provider’s privacy controls. A request to Sanchay cannot directly change records controlled by another provider.

Because Sanchay has no hosted online account system, this is a local-data guide, not an account-deletion form. If a future release adds online accounts, both its in-app and external deletion routes must be reassessed.
